Fret-King Esprit III.
Constructed from korina, a timber first used in guitar building
in the 50’s, and which has a grain structure similar in
nature to mahogany, but lighter and more vibrant, this classic
tonewood is the natural choice for the Fret-King Esprit III.
With a traditional three-piece 4” centre-section body, 2
degree neck rake, 22 fret, 25 1/2 “scale one-piece set-neck
with 12” radius rosewood fingerboard, and 8 degree angled
back reversed six-in-line peghead, the Esprit III has unsurpassed
tonal transfer and natural tone.
Taking style and versatility to a new level, with a matched set
of three calibrated Fret-King custom wound P90-style pickups,
the Esprit III has amazing tone.
With its matched set of three calibrated Fret -King custom wound
P90-style pickups, master tone and volume controls, 5-way selector
switch and a ‘reverse-wound, reverse-polarity’ middle
pickup for hum cancelling in positions 2 and 4, the Esprit III
offers a terrific level of versatility, individuality, some very
cool tones and attitude to spare!
