Lee Hodgson Lee has been playing on the British country scene since 1987, appearing with Memphis Roots at Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall plus countless clubs, festivals etc and continues to play UK country festivals with the Steve Cherelle Band. Currently gigging on a regular basis with a rock'n'roll/60s band, Benny & The Jetts, Lee has also done plenty of jazz-funk, pop & soul gigs too, including tours with chart-toppers Odyssey and George McRae, and Top 10 act, Bobby Thurston – an after show party gave him the opportunity to jam with Stevie Wonder's Wonderlove! Lee has been a magazine columnist and transcriber for Guitarist since the mid-80s and for Guitar Techniques since 1994 and has written a book, 'Hot Country', plus chapters for 'Guitar: a Complete Guide For The Player' and 'Play Acoustic'.
